Parachuting dogs are potent anti-poaching weapon

Dozens of dogs skydive alongside their human handlers into game preserves across Africa to foil poachers in their pursuit of elephant tusks and rhinoceros horns. The dogs are a low-cost, low-tech yet highly effective weapon in the fight to protect Africa’s ecosystems, with one region’s skydiving dogs catching over 100 poachers in 18 months.CBS News (3/9)
