Secrets of the Great Barrier Reef

Tiny coral polyps make up the Great Barrier Reef, the largest living structure on the planet, and BBC host David Attenborough recently returned to the reef to film a documentary. At least 1 million migrating animals visit the reef every year, including sharks, manta rays, turtles and dwarf minke whales. But that diversity of life may not be around forever: In the past few decades, 50% of the Great Barrier Reef has been lost. CBC.ca (Canada) (1/28)
