Sea star wasting syndrome strikes West Coast aquarium again

Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium officials say sea star wasting syndrome — which killed over half of their sea star population last year — has appeared again. Veterinarians and animal care staff are treating animals with antibiotics, an approach that helped resolve infections last year.
