Veterinarian Bhaskar Choudhury, who leads the medical team at the Wildlife Transit Home in India, works to save orphaned clouded leopard cubs and return them to nature. With an estimated 10,000 wild clouded leopards in the world, the species is considered vulnerable to extinction. Dr. Choudhury has developed a yearlong rehabilitation schedule that includes giving health care, feeding, training the animals to survive in the wild and ultimately releasing them back into their natural habitat.
