Chlamydia vaccine shows promise for koalas

As many as half of wild koalas are infected with a strain of chlamydia, and many of those sickened end up infertile, stressing an already vulnerable species. However, field trials of a vaccine have shown the agent may provide protection. All 30 koalas vaccinated against the disease remained free of chlamydia after six months
