Frozen rodents sold as reptile food linked to Salmonella outbreak

Reptile Industries’ Arctic Mice frozen rodents sold at PetSmart stores are connected to a Salmonella typhimurium outbreak that has affected 37 people in 18 states, according to the FDA. Five people have been hospitalized, but there have been no reported deaths. The company is not recalling the remaining product. The Plain Dealer (Cleveland) (5/21)
