Snowy owl in DC

A snowy owl that has been spotted lately around Washington, D.C., is recovering after being hit by a bus. National Zoo veterinarians examined the bird, and it is not believed to have head trauma. The owl had a broken toe, and officials have tested whether it was exposed to rat poison.
